Lapham's Quarterly Fashion Event, sponsored by the Oakland Book Festival

The fall has been busy with work! Here are just a few updates on what's been going on in the acting world:

2. Recently worked on a one-day commercial shoot for a new app.

3. Just booked two days of work on a video series for a non-profit.

4. Just booked a one-day shoot with a major airline company.

My short screenplay, "Magdalena," chosen as Best Short Script in California Women's Film Festival

JULY 15, 2015: I am deeply honored to announce that my short screenplay, Magdalena, was chosen as the winner in the Best Short Script Competition in the California Women's Film Festival. The awards will be handed out July 15 at the Whitefire Theatre in Sherman Oaks, CA.

Performing in the Bay Area Playwrights Festival

JULY 17-26, 2015: I am thrilled to working with the 38th Annual Bay Area Playwrights Festival. I will be reading the role of Debra/Prairie in Tearrance A. Chisholm's Hooded, or Being Black for Dummiesdirected by Jessa Brie Moreno. The readings will take place at the Tides Theatre in San Francisco, 533 Sutter Street. The performances are Saturday, July 18 at 4pm and Friday, July 24 at 8pm. Tickets for the festival can be purchased here: http://www.playwrightsfoundation.org/index.php?p=273

My short script, "Magdalena," chosen as a finalist at the Woods Hole Film Festival

AUGUST 1, 2015: I am thrilled to announce that the Woods Hole Film Festival has chosen my script, Magdalena, as one of the finalists for their short script category. Magdalena is based on The Whore's story from my book, From 6 to 9 and Beyond: Widening the Lens of Feminine Eroticism. The awards will be announced August 1, 2015 in Woods Hole, MA.

WHFF has been named one of the Top 50 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee 2015 by Movie Maker Magazine. It's an honor to be acknowledged by the Woods Hole Film Festival and I am excited to join in the festivities on August 1!
